British Model 1831 General Officer's Mameluke Sword with Ivory Grips by Manton & company

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39 inches. The sword is quite bright, with decorative etched panels on both side. The blade shows minor spots and smudges but generally it is very bright. The ivory grip plates show age toning and a small crack on each side next to the upper rivet. The brass guard and scabbard both show uncleaned patina and verdigris. The scabbard has a very minor indentation towards the base on one side.
