Circa 1870 Statue of a French Sailor

The statue is white metal, and the base is approximately 7-1/2 inches wide by 4-3/4 inches deep, while the statue is approximately 13 inches tall. The statue shows surface dirt, verdigris, and uncleaned patina, but the statue is complete and intact, with the statue retaining components such as the rifle and bayonet scabbard that are often found to be broken or missing. The statue makes an impressive appearance and it is in very good uncleaned condition. The rifle barrel screws off and is a slightly different color.
