WWII Italian Army Unit Helmet Metal Stencil

The plate was used to stencil the painted insignia of an Army unit on to the front of the Italian Army combat helmet, with the stencil plate being approximately 7-1/2 inches by 9 inches. The top reverse side bears what appears to be an impressed word and '43'. The stencil plate shows expected signs of age but it is in very good condition.
