WWII Romanian M1930 Army Officer Dagger

The dagger has an overall length of approximately 10 inches, with a blade length of approximately 5-3/8 inches. The nickel plated blade shows some scratches and speckling, with scattered dark spots, primarily on the lower sections. The nickel plating on the guard and the pommel is largely intact. The eagle head pommel is fitted with red glass eyes. The grip has black Bakelite plates secured by two rivets on each side. The reverse grip plate has a crack running across the width of the plate, although the grip plate remains intact. The obverse grip plate bears the crest of King Carol II of Romania, who ascended to the throne in 1930 and who was forced to abdicate in favor of his son Michael in 1940. The nickel plated scabbard s generally bright, with some scratches and a bit of plating loss above the frog hook.
