WWII German Prisoner of War Clay Pot from Camp Opelika, Alabama

The decorated clay pot is approximately 7-1/2 inches tall, with a top diameter of approximately 6 inches and a base diameter of approximately 5 inches. The base bears incised initials as well as the words 'German P.O.W. Camp' and 'Opelika U.S.A.'. The pot shows some age and wear to the decorative designs, but it is without chips or cracks and it is in overall excellent condition.
