WWII Japanese Naval Construction Unit Pith Helmet

The cork pith helmet is covered in a textured blue gray cotton fabric, with the front of the helmet bearing the brass insignia of the construction units of the Imperial Japanese Navy. The exterior shows some surface soiling and typical fading from sun exposure. The full interior leather sweatband is present, with a maker label in the dome of a helmet. The chin strap is in place across the front visor. Overall excellent field used condition.
