Spanish Flag Captured in the Philippines by the Oregon U.S. Volunteer Infantry with Unit Roster Annotation

The printed cotton flag is approximately 29 inches by 31 inches. The flag shows spots and soiling but it is without holes or damage. Written on the flag is a roster of the Second Regiment of the Oregon U.S. Volunteer Infantry. Also appearing on the flag are notations of 'First Expedition'; 'Guam'; Manila'; 'Cavite'; and 'Manila Surrender August 17, 1898'.
