A WWII Japanese Signed Personal Good Luck Flag with a Rising Sun Made with Blood

The flag is cotton and it is approximately 12-3/4 inches by 13 inches, with string ties at two corners. It bears handwritten kanji which include the phrases 'Gift', 'For Departure' and 'For Constant Training', with other kanji not being completely legible, and so they are certainly part of a lengthier slogan such as 'Constant Training Yields Self Realization'. The flag bears the name of 'Wakagi Kiyoshi'. The rising sun in the center was made from blood. The flag shows spots and age toning, but it is without holes or damage.
