Large 14 Inch Third Reich Terra Cotta Statue of a Gebirgsjaeger Mountain Troops Soldier

The finely detailed terra cotta figure has an overall height of approximately 14 inches. It appears that the tip of the rifle barrel was broken at some point in the past and it was well repaired, being discernible only upon very close examination. Aside from this old and very subtle repair, the figure is in excellent condition, showing some age spots but without chips or cracks.
