Cased 1894 Japanese Meiji Emperor 25th Wedding Anniversary Silver Celebration Medal

The silver version of this medal was presented topeople of noble rank who attended the ceremonies.Only 1,301 of the medals were presented. The medal is in excellent condition, with an uncleaned patina. The ribbon shows age toning. The wooden case itself is missing the lower front section and the sides.
