Named Imperial German Brunswick Line Infantry Regiment EM/NCO Visor Cap

The cap is the style worn by the Brunswick Regiments in the late 19th century. The cap has a dark blue body with a lighter blue cap band and piping. The front of the cap displays the Brunswick totenkopf above the Brunswick EM/NCO cockade. The exterior of the cap shows some soiling, as well as some tracking and a number of scattered small holes, primarily to the piping. The cap has a light spot on the top at the edge. The interior shows wear, but both the lining and the leather sweatband are complete and intact. There is a size tag with the stated size of '55'. The interior lining bears the retailer's name as well as the name tag of the original owner: 'Fusilier Schutte'.
