Spanish, M1893 Bayonet, Soldier Modified Fighting Knife, Simson, Suhl

Original era manufacture. An interesting and well done modification done to a German made, M1893 Spanish Mauser bayonet. Possible souvenir from the Spanish-American War. the blade measures 6.5 inches in length, with the muzzle ring carefully removed. Nice even steel patina finish, with normal age and wear evident.
