1921 Dated Army Imperial Guard EM/NCO Visor Cap

The cap has a light olive brown cotton top with red wool cap band and piping. The front of the cap bears the insignia of the Army Imperial Guard. The leather visor shows typical age crazing. The red wool cap band and piping have scattered moth holes. The interior of the cap shows the signs of actual wear and use. The lining bears a Taisho period dated issue stamp and the letters 'S.M', presumably the initials of the original owner of the cap.
