Vietnam War Viet Cong Booby Trap

Recently deaccessioned by a Vietnam War museum. A wooden plank, taken from an American ammunition crate, approximately 4 3/4 by 16 inches. Set into the plank are five jagged and barbed hand made blades. The original museum label, indicating that the plank was placed in a tree with a trip wire, remains affixed to the booby trap.
