Model 1880 U.S. Army Hunting Knife

The knife is manufacturer marked by the Springfield Army and is serial numbered 1458. The suspension on the leather scabbard is manufacturer marked by the Watervliet Arsenal. The blade is quite bright and has been sharpened. The oak grip displays a small chip on the pommel and moderate wear. The brass components of the knife and scabbard are in an uncleaned state with original patina. The leather scabbard suspension shows wear and use but it is complete and intact. Overall in very good condition.
