Confederate General Staff 26mm Uniform Button

A large uniform button, approximately 26 mm (1 inch) in diameter, for the uniform of a Confederate Officer. The button has a nicely age-toned gilt obverse with eagle and a 'CSA' shield. The shank is intact on the back – slightly pushed, which is manufacturer marked 'S. Isaacs Campbell & Co./London/St. James St.'. A non-dug button in very fine condition.
