German Pre-1897 Bavarian Infantry Officer Visor Cap

A Pre-1897 blue wool Imperial German officer visor cap with the cockade of Bavaria on the cap band. The cap is somewhat misshapen from storage but it displays very well. There is one very small hole in the red piping on the front, and the cap visor shows the expected age crazing. The interior silk lining and leather sweatband have come loose in a few spots.
