M35 German Helmet Issued by Spain

A model 1935 German helmet with separately applied air vent rivets, painted in the medium brown used by the Spanish Army, and with the insignia of the Spanish eagle applied to the front of the helmet. The Franco eagle is not attached with a slot on the front of the helmet, as is found on the helmets manufactured in Spain. Rather, the insignia is soldered to the front of the helmet. The exterior helmet brown paint is approximately 95% intact. The liner is complete, but the drawstring is missing as is the chin strap. The left interior side of the helmet has a lightly impressed size stamp of 64, but the manufacturer code in not legible. The rear interior skirt of the helmet has a visible stamp of '3'.
