Circa 1825 Militia Artillery Waist Belt Plate

This plate measures 2 1/2 X 3 1/8″, gilt rolled brass face fused to a tinned iron backing, then die struck. Illustrated as plate 104 in 'American Military Plates' by Michael J. O'Donnell & J. Duncan Campbell.
