A scarce original Edwardian period 'Military Prison Staff Corps cap badge', die-stamped brass crowned cypher of Edward VII, complete with original crimped slider fitting. Good condition, with some minor service wear to crown and spot of verdigris centre right.Height without slider approx 38mm.In 1901 the 'Military Prison Staff Corps' was formed, in 1906 it was renamed 'Military Provost Staff Corps'.
