WWII Japanese Navy Pilot's Flight Suit

The winter naval flight suit was only produced as a one piece flight suit. It is identical to the summer with the exception of the rabbit fur collar. It has a zippered & 4 button vertical front closure, with a hook and eye to its neck and a lay-down rabbit fur collar showing minor edge wear. A vertical belt loop is to each hip and the center of the back. Original belt is included. Vertical slashes are to each hip, each with small wooden button closures, allowing access to the interior. To the front of both thighs are pleated patch pockets with scalloped flaps, with small buttons. The cuffs of each sleeve and to the base of each leg have zipper closures with wind flaps. All of the zippers still function perfectly. On the interior is sewn a navy issue tag. The flight suit is in very good condition with a few snags to the material and scattered spotting, but nothing distracting.
