WWII Japanese Navy Officer Black Field Cap

The cap is constructed of black wool with two white stripes around the body, denoting officer rank. The black leather chin strap is secured by officer chrysanthemum side buttons. The cap is fully lined and bears a diamond shaped tag with written kanji, presumably the owner's name and possibly his unit. The cap is in excellent condition, showing signs of only light use.
