Signed Silk and Cotton Japanese Hinomaru Flag

A signed Japanese Hinomaru flag which used very interesting construction. The white silk field had a circular area cut out of the center and the red sun, made of cotton, was sewn to the flag. Approximately 27 by 39 inches i size, with a large slogan at the top and extensively signed. Two of the corners at one time had paper reinforcements and string ties but these are gone. The flag itself is in excellent condition.
