French WWI 70 mm Trench Art Vase, Mousson 11.11.18

Original era manufacture. Tall brass shell casing which is nicely decorated with the name Mousson (Pont a' Mousson) and the date of the signing of the Armistice ending WWI in November 1918. Shell stands just under 14 inches in height, shows some stress cracking in the body with a dark brass patina.
