Imperial German Unit Marked Belt & Brass Buckle

SOLDThe leather belt shows age and wear but remains supple. The belt is size marked '98' centimeters (about 38 1/2 inches). The belt is dated 1901 and marked to Infantry Regiment 46 (the 1st Lower Silesian Infantry, 'Count Kirchbach'). The belt carries a two piece brass 'Gott Mit Uns' buckle. The 46th Infantry Regiment served on the Western Front during WWI.
