US Army Model 1881 Commissary Corps Helmet

The Model 1881 helmet is constructed of pressed felt with American eagle front plate bearing the insignia of the Commissary Corps, with Commissary Corps side buttons. The interior retains the leather sweatband, showing stains from wear with a few tears. The interior visors show cracks to the interior paper linings, but the helmet makes an excellent appearance and overall it is in very good condition.
