Description

The kepi shows age and wear, with scuffs to the leather visor as well as spots to the body of the kepi and age toning of the bullion insignia. The kepi is manufacturer marked on the interior to the Horstmann firm of Philadelphia, with the Horstmann box bearing the name of 'Benjamin F. Morton, Jr.'. The kepi includes its separate 'pom-pom' device. The boxed kepi is accompanied by a large photograph of the Pennsylvania Military College class of 1924, which was comprised of 10 cadets. In the photograph, Morton is standing in the rear row on the viewer's far right. The framed photograph is approximately 14-3/4 inches by 20-1/2 inches, and it is without glass in the frame. The frame shows chips and scratches.'
