1920's Handwritten Technical Notes and Journal of an Engineer on the U.S. Navy Submarine S-25

The two large hardcover volumes are each approximately 8-1/2 inches by 14 inches. One of the volumes bears the handwritten name of 'E.J. Baldwin, EM 3/C [Engineering Mate 3rd Class] U.S.S. S-25 C/O PM (Postmaster] San Diego Calif.'. One volume contains technical notes and drawings regarding the U.S. Navy Submarine S-1. The second volume is a personal journal written by Baldwin regarding service on U.S. Navy submarines in the 1920's. The volumes show wear and age, but they are intact.
