Model 1873 U.S. Army Indian Wars Entrenching Tool

Approximately 13 inches in overall length. The blade of the tool shows spots and scratches, with areas of surface rust. The wooden grip exhibits scratches and cracks, but it is intact. The grip is marked 'U.S.', as is the leather sheath. The sheath shows spots and stains as well as abrasions. The suspension ring is intact on the rear of the sheath. Good field used condition.
