Named 159th Transportation Battalion Staff Sergeant Parade M1 Helmet Liner

The helmet liner is a CAPAC example, with intact liner webbing. The interior of the helmet is named to Merle S. Barnhill, with his service number. The exterior gloss finish olive paint shows scratches and scuffs but it is generally intact. The front of the helmet liner has the decal of a Staff Sergeant chevron, showing some chips and wear. Each side of the helmet liner has the decal of the distinctive unit insignia of the 159th Transportation Battalion. There is a portion of the liner chin strap on the interior of the helmet. Overall very good condition.
