Model 1881 U.S. Army EM/NCO Pith Helmet Dated 1899

The exterior of the sun helmet shows typical spots and age toning, but the helmet as a whole is without damage. The interior leather sweatband is intact, with a size tag of 6-7/8. The underside of the sweatband bears the maker mark of the Horstmann Company of Philadelphia, with a contract date of 1899. Overall very good field used condition.
