American Colonial Era Plug Bayonet

The plug bayonet has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 13 inches, with a blade length of approximately 8-1/2 inches. The tapered blade shows some surface rust on both sides as well as some scratches and signs of age. The horn grip exhibits age but it is intact and without damage. The guard displays some rust and uncleaned patina. The fluted tin scabbard similarly shows some areas of rust and use, but the scabbard is without damage and the belt attachment hook is intact on the reverse side.
