Original Civil War Relic 3 Ring Bullet Recovered Cashtown (Gettysburg Campaign). A bullet or 'minie ball' recovered from the Confederate staging area and rest stop just outside Cashtown, PA. This area was passed by thousands of Confederate troops on the way to and from Gettysburg. Many great Confederate artifacts have been found in this area over the years. We have a few of these very nice bullets from one of the old time local diggers we know personally, they were recovered decades ago. They have a rich clean white patina as expected for an excavated piece.
