Oak Hill/Oak Ridge Gettysburg July 1st 1863. This wood was from Oak Hill on the Gettysburg battlefield. On July 1st 1863 when fighting erupted this area became a focal point of the battle. The bullet was recovered on Oak Hill/Oak Ridge on the Gettysburg battlefield near where the tree stood. The painting in this display depicts the brutal fighting that took place in this area on July 1st 1863. The famous Peace Light Memorial stands in this spot today. The bullet was obtained pre-National Park and both are 100% authentic and legal to own.
