French WWI 75 Trench Art Shell Casing, Argonne 1914-1918

Original era manufacture. A nicely rendered trench art vase with a floral top, Shield at center is engraved 1914 Argonne 1918, with a raised banner on the opposite side displaying a mans name, Fred J. Haworth which provides information for research. Dark brass patina, the base has been hammered a bit so the headstamp details are blurred.  Stands 13.5 inches in height.
