Description
Original era manufacture. Polished steel, cruciform blade, measuring 34 inches in length. The blade is straight, clean for it's age with scattered age staining along its length. Gilded brass guard which folds on one side, fishskin wrapped grip without wire binding. The fixed portion of the guard features a fighting cock before a panoply of flags, with three tiny silver stars riveted to the grip indicating a general officers rank of division commander. No scabbard.
