Large Spanish American War Ambulance Canteen

The canteen is approximately 11 inches in diameter and 3-3/4 inches wide. The metal cap shows rust but it is intact. The shoulder strap has small pieces missing but it is also intact. The metal slides on the side of the canteen for the shoulder strap also show rust. Overall very good field used condition.
