Federal Model 1855 Socket Bayonet With Model 1873 'US' Swivel Hanger Scabbard

The blade has a 'US' marked ricasso and is painted black – which show wear. The bayonet has a steel scabbard which shows wear to the finish and surface rust. The scabbard is retained with a leather frog and Hoffman swivel device. Overall very good condition.
