The triangular blade shows some pitting and rust near the tip, with scattered spots and surface grime. The ricasso is marked :US:, while the spine is marked with what appears to be 'P858'. The finish of the steel scabbard is largely intact, with some minor surface rust. The brass swivel hanger has an uncleaned patina.
