German WWII S84/98 Bayonet & Frog, Matching, J.Sch 1937

Original era manufacture. A clean bayonet, with a fair amount of original blue finish remaining on the blade, no evidence of sharpening, with a good tip. Serial number of 6542c on the ricasso and scabbard throat, with a 37 date on the blade spine. The rest of the metal surface is in the white, except for the area covered by the leather frog where the blue remains. Very pliable black leather frog with sound stitching and an oil finish.
