French WWI Army Major Kepi

Original era manufacture. Nice quality hat with a dark blue wool covered body and a red wool top. Four rows of gold bullion wire piping indicating the rank of Major. Black patent leather visor, thin gold brocade chinstrap, secured with two small flaming bomb decorated buttons. Red silk lining with a tan leather sweatband laced with a thin brown silk ribbon. Sound condition, no mothing. size about a 57.
