Japanese WWII Type 30 Bayonet Early Production Nagoya, 17962

Original era manufacture. An early production bayonet featuring a bright finished blade, hooked guard, contoured wood grips and a blue finished steel scabbard. The blade is bright, showing minor scattered discoloration from oil and age, with no damage to the cutting edge. Sound wood grips with original varnished finish, with some light marring and denting. Mix of dark steel patina and blue finish to the pommel and guard. Clean original finish scabbard with some very light, scattered surface corrosion, and a few very shallow dents on the reverse.
