Original era manufacture. Drawn steel cup, about the same size and general design of the Indian War era issue cup, but without the bottom seam. Riveted steel handle with an embossed US on the curve. One of the many examples of an issue cup experimented with by the US Army in the years 1890-1910. Normal age and wear.
