US Civil War M1855 Socket Bayonet

Original era manufacture. Bright steel finished US proofed bayonet with a triangular blade which measures 17 34 inches tip to shoulder 22mm opening on the socket .Scattered age staining or spotting but no serious corrosion or pitting issues. We took a US penny and it passes through the socket opening easily.
