1941 Dated K98 Combat Bayonet by Josua Corts in Gebruder Heller Scabbard

The blade shows spots of loss to the blued finish, primarily towards the tip. The ricasso is marked '41 ddl', reflecting 1941 production by the firm of Josua Corts, with the opposite ricasso having the serial number 2761. The Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The guard and pommel exhibit age and wear to the finish. The top of the pommel has waffen amt marks. The scabbard throat has the manufacturer code of 'S 178K', indicating production by the firm of Gebruder Heller, while the opposite side has the serial number of '4353'. The scabbard shows a matte finish with some areas of light surface rust.
