Allgemeine SS Award Plaque: 'SS-Oberabschnitt Südost als Anerkennung'

The heavy, solid dark brown porcelain plaque is approximately 6-3/8 inches long by 4-1/4 inches wide by 3/4 of an inch deep. The plaque bears the relief image of a rider in armor mounted on horseback. He holds a swastika flag in one hand while with the other he brandishes a shield with SS runes. Below the image is the nomenclature 'SS Oberabschnitt Sudost Als Anerkennung' (In Recognition [from] SS Oberabschnitt Sudost'). This Oberabschnitt was headquartered at Brieg and Breslau. The plaque shows surface dirt and dust, but it is in near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
