Untouched and Uncleaned Third Reich Officer Panther Head Sword by Anton Wingen Jr.

The sword has an overall length in the scabbard of approximately 39-1/2 inches with a blade length of approximately 31-1/2 inches. The blade is generally bright, showing some scratches, smudges, and verdigris. The ricasso bears the maker mark of Anton Wingen, Jr. The celluloid grip is without chips or cracks and it remains tightly triple wrapped in brass wire. The panther head hilt is fitted with faceted red glass eyes. The guard bears an open winged army style eagle. The entire hilt is very dark with uncleaned patina. The painted scabbard shows some chipped spots and surface rust.
