Signed Photo Postcard of Luftwaffe Fighter Pilot Gordon Gollob, Recipient of the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds

The period signed postcard measures approximately 3-1/2 inches y 5-1/2 inches. The reverse bears a recipient's address and a 1943 postmark. At that time Gollob was commanding fighters in France, and the postcard sems to have been sent by Gollob from Paris.Gollob was credited with 150 enemy aircraft shot down in over 340 combat missions. Gollob claimed the majority of his victories over the Eastern Front, and six over the Western Front.
