1916 Imperial German Desk Display Piece

A silvered plaque is affixed to a heavy piece of rock, with the plaque bearing the engraved statement of 'Gruss aus Stassfurt 1916' ('Greetings from Stassfurt 1916'). Overall the desk piece is approximately 4-3/4 inches tall by 4-1/4 inches wide by 2-1/2 inches deep. The silvered plaque shows uncleaned patina.
