Named Imperial German 172nd (3rd Upper Alsatian) Infantry Regiment Reservist Flask

The flask shows typical age toning and speckling of the metal frame and of the drinking cup. The flask is named to Reservist Weitzel, who served with the unit from 1906 to 1908. The red, white and black cord exhibits fading and age. The porcelain components of the flask are in near mint condition, without chips or cracks.
